Curriculum Vitae
Lawrence Weiner is one of the central figures of Conceptual Art, but he always refuses this terminology as inappropriate for his art. Since the beginning of his professional artistic career he has been expressing himself through writing and speaking (statements, essays, lectures, contributions, interviews) about the questions of his art and the various contexts of it.
 
1959Upon graduating from high school, Weiner worked for example on an oil tanker or helped to unload railroad cars
