1947 – 1950Study at the Los Angeles City College and at the University of California, Los Angeles
1950At the age of 22 he begins to paint
1960 Moves to New York;
Wesley takes part in group exhibitions of Pop-Art. Inspired by comic books, his American themes and his erotic paintings have a formative influence not only on Pop Art but also on a whole generation of young painters.
