EL SOURDOG HEX is a private art club with a seat in Berlin Mitte, Zimmerstraße 77.

The association shows a three-year exhibition cycle, in which a total of 19 artists of the 50s to the 90s are exhibited. This cycle is intended as a homage to the artists of this era. At the end of the exhibition cycle, the club will publish a catalogue portraying all exhibitions in a retrospective.

We started with an exhibition of artworks by George Brecht (sculptures, drawings and statements, 1959-1973). The name of the art club relates to a comprehensive exhibition of the same title by the important Fluxus artist George Brecht, 1973 in New York.

The exhibition cycle will be continuously published in important international art magazines.
